I said it after the Derby with the dream setup for Rich Strike that Rich would not win another race after the Derby. Certainly will not win this race. Of course if Rich Strike goes back to the level he truly belongs he may win a race. Think the Travers goes to Epicenter and well Zandon always shows up in the money so can't leave him out for the underneath plays. I think the top 3 on the charts is your play and I would even throw out Rich Strike and maybe put Artorius in his place. The only thing that might save Rich Strike is that the dirt track at Saratoga has been playing slow and it was a muddy track yesterday and could be a drying track today and that kind of surface anything can happen but hopefully it will be fast and somewhat normal by the Travers. Will be a fun race to watch and hope you enjoy your Travers Day at Saratoga.
Thanks Jeff, it sure seems a fun race. Feels like Cyberknife has to gun some from the rail, and that Early Voting may indeed try to setup in the garden spot off his flank rather than force a hot pace, in order to stay the distance. Leaves Epicenter to setup in a nice stalking trip. I will be watching the track carefully for "big day" speed bias, knowing the Spa has already been favoring those with some forward position, but unless they get a real jump on Joel it seems his race to lose. Good luck!
