Steve , you're right . Players SHOULD hit where the holes are , BUT THEY WON'T DO IT . They have to be MADE to do it . Don't want to run the bases . Trot , or walk to the dugout . Alot of walking to the dugout . Bunting will produce more runs , just Not for the bunter . It's called a sacrifice for a reason . They also are so NOT used to fielding bunts , they'll screw up , throw it away. .
