I see I was proven wrong because the Blackhawks didn’t end the losing streak since they were outplayed by the Oilers that won a high scoring thriller 5-4. The Blackhawks had a great comeback in the 3rd period because they scored 3 goals, however they couldn’t score the needed goal to tie the game 5-5.
The Blackhawks didn’t have a great 1st period, and they had a great scoring 3rd period that gave them a realistic chance of tying the game.
