Secret Oath was done before the quarter poleβ¦she would not switch leads in the stretch and looked exhausted. Nest ran her best race of the year in the Belmont Stakes and peakedβ¦.the only place to go after peaking is down. I knew she would not run like she did at Saratoga.
Yesterday, I was so fervently rooting for Blue Stripe that I almost lost my voice! She was on my picks three, four, five and all exotics! Big fan of HIB did a great job! π€ I think she didn't break well?
I was hoping for a 1-2 finish for Pletcher, but Malathaat was my top pick, and glad she got up in time. She wrapped up another championship season. I would love if she returns as a 5yo, bcuz she's only getting better
